Artesania Rinconada ceramic animal figurines are handcrafted in Montevideo, Uruguay. Clay is poured into flat molds and baked into "greenware". The intricate details are then individually handcarved and the piece is fired again. Each piece is then handpainted and once again goes into the kiln.
